Roblox Bio Maker

Roblox filters all text on the platform, your About, chat and display name included. A word it blocks shows as ####, and it also hides personal information (a phone number, an address, your school) and directions to other apps or sites. A long run of numbers can read as a phone number, so keep numbers short, like an age. For players 12 and under it filters personal information in chat and posts too.

Roblox doesn't publish which symbols or fancy fonts get through. Styled letters like 𝓛𝓾𝓷𝓪 are Unicode characters, not a font setting, so on Roblox they may show, turn into boxes or be hidden. That's why every template here uses plain letters and keyboard symbols such as <3, ~ and ^_^, why the Divider and Symbol options switch to keyboard ones on Roblox, and why the maker marks every fancy font. If you try one anyway, check your profile from a friend's account to see what others see.

• About: up to 1,000 characters. Open your profile, type in the About box and click Save. Roblox's editor counts most emoji and styled letters as two characters each, and the counter here does the same.
• Display name: 3 to 20 characters, only letters A–Z and numbers with at most one space and one underscore, and you can change it once every 7 days. Roblox refuses fancy fonts, symbols and emoji there.
• Username: 3 to 20 letters and numbers with one underscore, not at the start or end. Changing it costs Robux.
• Links: not in the About. Social links go under Settings → Account Info → Social Networks, which needs a 13+ age check, and only age-checked players near your age see them.

Roleplay experiences such as Brookhaven and Berry Avenue have a name and bio of their own, separate from your profile. In Brookhaven the Character Bio menu sets an RP name and bio that show above your character, in a colour you pick. Roblox requires every experience to filter what players type, so the same rules apply there: plain words show, personal details and links get hidden.

The Roleplay templates are written for that: who your character is, an age for the story and one line about them. Copy one, paste it into the game's bio box and change the details.
