How flipping works
Each letter is swapped for a Unicode character that looks like it turned over: a becomes ɐ, e becomes ǝ, h becomes ɥ. Most come from the phonetic alphabet, which has many turned letters. Then the order is reversed, so the line reads correctly when you rotate the phone.
It is still text, so it pastes into names, bios, comments and messages, and people can copy it back.
Where people use it
- Australia jokes and "down under" posts.
- A comment that makes people tilt their head.
- A display name that stands out in a list.
- Hiding a spoiler in plain sight.
Questions

Letters like H, I, O and X look the same either way, and Unicode has no turned form for a few others.
Nearly every letter shows everywhere. A few capitals borrow characters from other scripts that very old computers lack.
