How text bows are made
Unicode has a bow emoji (🎀) but no plain text bow, so people build one from characters that look like loops. ୨୧ is the Odia digits two and one, ୨ৎ adds a Bengali letter, 𝜗𝜚 are the math italic theta and rho, and ᰔᩚ is a Lepcha letter with a Tai Tham sign. Side by side they read as the two loops of a ribbon.
⋈ and ⧓ are bowtie signs from math. ⑅ is the OCR bow tie.
Coquette style
Bows are the mark of the coquette look: pair them with ♡, tiny sparkles ⊹ ˚ and soft words. Keep a bow on each side of a name, or one at the start of each bio line.
Compatibility: all of these show on current iPhone and Android. ᡣ𐭩 and 𐙚 use rarer scripts and can show as boxes on older Windows.
