Invisible Character
Pick a character and how many, then copy. It looks empty, but it is there.
3 invisible characters in the box.
Which blank character to use
- Hangul filler (U+3164): the one most players use for blank or spaced game names. Free Fire guides recommend it for invisible nicknames, and it is common in PUBG Mobile, BGMI and Mobile Legends names. It is as wide as a letter.
- Braille blank (U+2800): an empty braille cell. Good for blank lines in Instagram and TikTok bios and captions, where empty lines would otherwise be removed, and for blank WhatsApp messages.
- Zero-width space (U+200B): has no width at all. Use it to join words without a gap or to stop a link or @mention from turning into a link. Many name fields strip it.
- Ideographic space (U+3000): a wide space from Chinese and Japanese text. Use it where normal spaces get collapsed into one.
Blank names in games and apps
Games check names differently, and they change their rules with updates, so treat every blank name as a test. A name made only of U+3164 is often already taken, so players mix one or two of them with a letter or symbol. In Free Fire a name change costs a rename card, so try the name in the rename box and look at the preview before you pay.
Discord, Instagram and TikTok usually refuse a display name that is completely empty, but accept blank characters between visible ones, which is how people make extra-wide gaps. If an app rejects one character, try the next: they are separate characters, and apps filter them one by one. Two more you can try elsewhere are U+115F (Hangul choseong filler) and U+FFA0 (halfwidth Hangul filler).
